Heavy Rainstorms + Irrigation= Waste of a Valueable Resource

I pulled off the road because off a heavy thunderstorm in the Memphis area. I passed the time by…. WATCHING THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM RUN!!! I am not the World’s biggest environmentalist, but I do give a damn whether or not my children are going to have clean drinking water, many years from now.
I have always been taught “Talk is Cheap” ( thats why I talk so much). That being said, here is my Call to Action:
1. If you have an irrigation system, in the Greater Memphis Area, The Gardener’s Shadow, LLC. would like to help you become acquainted with how to use it efficiently FOR FREE!!!****Within Reason.

2. I, Wilson Horrell of “The Gardener’s Shadow, llc.”, would like you to visit me on our FaceBook page (The Gardener’s Shadow, LLC.), or visit our website at www.thegardenersshadow.com and I will be happy to walk you through using your irrigation clock. There are MANY ways we can do this and it will be fun.
****Food For Thought- A typical residential irrigation system has 12 “Zones” running about 4 X’s per week. ASSUMING it was designed correctly (probably not), and you reduced the time of each zone 2 MINUTES. You will be saving yourself 1,152 GALLONS PER WEEK. This is approx. 30,000 GALLONS PER YEAR, this does NOT include what you would save by turning it off during rainfall.
Yall be good
Pass this on to anyone
